Stephen A. LeBegue, 65, of Brookston, IN, passed away peacefully at his home.
Stephen was born on August 5, 1960, in Lafayette, IN, to the late Arthur and Sharon (Mansfield) LeBegue. He was a graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School.
On July 16, 2000, he married the love of his life, Laurie Hull in Brookston, and she survives.
Stephen was a member of the Union Local 157 Plumbers and Pipefitters. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, camping, mushroom hunting, woodworking, and solo overnight canoeing trips on the Wabash River.
Along with his wife, Laurie, he is survived by his children: Jessica LeBegue, Daniel LeBegue, Audrey Barnett (Jesse) Jones, and Ashley McLachlan; siblings: Tracy (Melvin) Stoll of Springfield, IL and Kurt LeBegue of Lafayette, IN. Stephen is also survived by his grandchildren: Ethan, Eli, Eivin, Sawyer, Mia, Margot, and Jasper.
He is preceded in passing by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Clegg Memorial Garden 1782 North 400 East Lafayette, IN 47905
