Steve Vaughn Brady, born on April 12, 1955, in Illinois, passed away peacefully in St. Petersburg, Florida, on August 6, 2025. He was a man whose laughter echoed through the streets he traveled as a cab driver, painting every corner with joy and companionship. Steve embodied a spirit of happiness and fun that transformed everyday moments.
His journey took him from the heart of Illinois to the sun-drenched shores of St. Petersburg, where he truly found his home. In this vibrant city, he established roots that blossomed into a large circle of friends, a chosen family that embraced him wholeheartedly. Steve had an uncanny ability to connect with people, turning passengers into friends and acquaintances, leaving behind an enduring legacy of camaraderie and affection.
Steve honorably served in the Navy, adding yet another layer of experience and adventure to his rich tapestry of life.
Steve's journey was characterized by a vibrant passion and zest for life. While we mourn the loss of a beloved friend and confidant, we celebrate the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to share in the laughter and light he brought into the world.
A Celebration of Life will be held for him on Sunday, August 24th @ 4PM , located at Tim & Cathy's in Pinellas Park. We look forward to all the stories, laughter and smiles as we celebrate this special man.
