Steve was born August 8, 1950, in Columbus, Indiana, to Allen and Thelma Messer. He was a 1968 graduate of Elkhart High School and the University of Bloomington. Steve worked in Branson as Mix/ Master Digital Audio Engineer.
Survivors include his beloved wife Hong Messer of the home; a son, Sam Day; two sisters Judy McCarrel and Sondra Staub; and nieces and nephews.
There will be two services for Steve the first service will be at 9am, with a second service at 2:30 pm, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, 441 West Battlefield, Springfield, MO 65807, with cremation to immediately follow the second service at Greenlawn Cremation Center, 3506 North National, Springfield, MO 65803.
