Steve Ramirez Obituary
Steve Herrera Ramirez of New Home passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the age of 33. He was born May 28, 1981 in Slaton to Jesus Lopez and Patty (Herrera) Ramirez. He graduated from New Home High School after graduation he attended South Plains College and Texas Tech University. He worked as a stocker for Walmart and was a member of Iglesia Bautista Templo in Lubbock. Steve enjoyed playing cards and was an avid “Cowboy Fan”.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Patty; one brother, Nick Ramirez; grandmother, Mona Ramirez; grandfather, David Herrera; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his father; grandfather and grandmother.
Visitation will begin 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Iglesia Bautista Templo with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at Iglesia Bautista Templo with interment to follow at Nevels Memorial Cemetery in Tahoka.
