Funeral services are scheduled for noon, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from the Chapel of South Canton Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Dobson officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30 PM with honors by the United States Navy.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at South Canton Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death by, Parents: Clifton and Emma Magness, Brother: Charles Magness, Sister-In-Law: Audrey McMinn Magness, Sister-In-Law: Arlene Cantrell, and Sister-In-Law: Vicky Grizzle
Survivors include: Five Survivors:
Wife - Audrey Grizzle Magness
Son - Matthew Magness and wife Pham Xam Mui
Daughter - Katie Dobson and husband Josh
Grandchildren - Lilia and Paul Dobson
Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and other Family also survive.
In lieu of flowers, donations are to be made to Samaritan's Purse- U.S. Disaster Relief- Hurricane Helene
