Steven George Pessek, Age 67, of Breezy Point, Minnesota, Passed away May 7, 2025

Born on December 26,1957 to George and Helen (Benkowski) Pessek. Steve Graduated from Glencoe High School in 1976, then went to Mankato State.

From College Steve Joined the Airforce, where he was stationed in Las Vegas, Nevada for 2 years (1980-1982), and Sacramento, California for 2 years (1983-1984). Steve then went on to Cal State, where he received his Bachelor Degree in Business.

Steve moved back to Minnesota (1990 – 1994) where he worked at Quast Transfer as their Credit Manager. From there Steve went to Hutchinson Tech, for NDT, and moved out to Seattle, WA and did Contracting for Nuclear Inspection.

In 1999 Steve moved back to Minnesota he bought his House in Breezy Point, where he resided for 25 years, and worked as a Pipeline welding inspector. Due to health issues Steve moved to Whitefish in Cross Lake October 2024.

Steve enjoyed Playing softball, watching sports, traveling to see many friends, and spending time with his puppies. Traveling was his biggest passion, Steve always had a vacation booked, and friends to see along the way. Always made sure to get in touch with his high school friends, who he stayed very close with his entire life.

Steve is survived by his siblings, Susan (Larry) Edinger of Cold Springs, MN. Linda Harrison, of Litchfield MN. Gary (Barbara) Pessek of Sun City, Arizona. And many Relatives and Friends.

Steve was Preceded in death by his parents George and Helen Pessek, sister Carol Weispfennig, Brother-in-Law Kenneth Weispfennig, and his two very special puppies Crystal and China.

A celebration of life will be held from 1pm-4pm on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the Marina II Restaurant in the Breezy Point Resort.
