With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Steve J Ray of Johnsburg, IL. A beloved husband and father who passed away October 27, 2024. He was born April 14, 1976.
He is survived by his devoted wife of twenty years, Annie Ray, and his pride and joy, his three children, Carissa, Henry, and Natalie.
A seasoned carpenter, he was extremely skilled and took great pride in his work. Steve spent many years volunteering his time coaching baseball and leading the local Boy Scout troop. He was always very quick to lend a hand, whether it be helping fix something, driving in a parade, loaning a tool, et cetera; he never hesitated to help.
Steve was a very fun-loving, easy-going man who loved a good joke, especially dad jokes. He will be missed by so many.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers for your family. Mark and I are shocked and would be there for the family if we weren´t living in Texas. Mark had just spoke with him a few days ago.
