Steven Rippert Obituary

Following high school Steve attended K-State & KU Universities. On February 1, 1982 Steve was united in marriage to Mary Frances Link in Abilene and were blessed with two children.
Steve was the Maintenance Director for the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City where he worked for more than 39 years.
Steve enjoyed bowling, golfing, cooking, and reading, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife Mary Frances of the home, daughter Anna Ingles and her husband Michael of Ashland, Missouri, son Joseph and his wife Heide of Junction City, Kansas, brother William Rippert of Shalimar, Florida, sister Mary Bessey and her husband Bruce of Derby, Kansas, and four grandchildren Nya, Inarie, Isabel, and Madisyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Kenneth.
Funeral services for Steve will be 10:00 am Friday, September 13, 2024 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Abilene. His final resting place will be in the Highland Cemetery in Junction City. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am – service time Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church and may be sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home, 501 N. Buckeye, Abilene, Kansas 67410.
