Steven Scott Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 1, 2025.
Steven Phillip Scott, lovingly known as "Pepe" passed away at the age of 73 on June 20, 2025 in Limerick, ME after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 22, 1952, in Marlboro/Hudson, MA.
Steven was a beloved husband, father and friend who left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Steven spent his early years in Massachusetts before moving to Maine in his early twenties, a decision that would shape the rest of his life. It was here that he met Robin, the love of his life. Together, they shared a journey of love and dedication, buying their first house and later building a beautiful home in Limerick. They were blessed with two children, Michael and Camilla, and created a family full of love and warmth.
A man of many talents, Steven was known for his intellect and skill as the "smartest person to swing a hammer." However, it was his role as a father figure that defined him, ready to lend support to anyone in need, regardless of whether they realized it. His kindness, hard work, and unique habit of asking you to "say again please" endeared him to many.
Steven's passions included hiking and enjoying the sunshine with Butterball, his loyal companion. While he may not have had formal community involvements, his impact was felt far and wide through his personal connections and the positive change he inspired.
Steven emphasized the importance of love, second chances, and never taking anything for granted. His teachings and spirit will live on in the hearts of Robin, Michael, Camilla and all those fortunate enough to have known him. He taught that love is truly the secret to life, and in his passing, Steven reminds us to cherish every moment and strive to uplift others.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Black Heald Walker Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale.
