Steven Hugh Skeen, 61, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Glenn Skeen and Sue Miller Skeen; wife, Rachel Skeen; sister, Wanda Sue Moore; brothers, Dennis Glenn Skeen and Darin Skeen.
He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved to dirt race and spend time with his family and friends. Steve was a hard worker working many hours per week to provide for his family.
Survivors include daughter, Summer Skeen and son, Ryan Skeen; stepdaughters, Makenzie Bishop and Brianna Bishop; sisters, Penny Canter and Tina Collins and husband Mike; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Brenda Nunley; grandchildren, Rubi Skeen, Collin Skeen, Paxton Almany and Xavier Almany and honorary dad, W.L. “Pappy” Bare. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 11 a.m.in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Adam Wolfe officiating. Those wishing to attend should meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Nunley, Ronnie Jessee, Randy Taylor, Greg Corder, and Auden Cox.
