Steven Rodney Snodgrass

Steven Rodney Snodgrass, 57, died at 7:45 a.m. Feb. 5, 2011, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born Dec. 23, 1953, in Lima to Russell E. Snodgrass and Esther H. Shriner Snodgrass Coup. His father died in March 1987. His mother and stepfather, Mahlon Coup, survive in Milton, Pa. Mr. Snodgrass had a heart of gold and would help anyone who needed it. He was a 1972 graduate of Bath High School. He enjoyed auto body work and had worked at Pruitt Ford for several years when it was located on West Street. He had also worked at High's Body Shop. He would cut and sell wood for extra income and enjoyed being in the woods. He also enjoyed traveling and made a trip to the West Coast by motorcycle with several buddies when he was younger. Survivors also include a sister, Virginia (Russell); two nephews, Ian and Craig; a niece, Krista (Justo); and three great-nephews, Gabriel, Ethaniel and Ezekiel. Graveside services will begin at 3:15 p.m. March 11, in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Revs. Wesley and Sue Richard will officiate. Condolences may be expressed at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
