Steven A. Stroble, age 52, of New Carrollton, MD departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Steven was born in Virginia, on February 11, 1971, to the late Charlie M. Stroble and Hazel L. Tucker-Stroble.
Steven received his education in northern Virginia. Steven was a very humble man and a gifted artist. He loved drawing, virtual gaming, old-school 70s music, and "Star Wars" movies. Preceding him in death were maternal grandparents, Prince E. Tucker, Sr., and Mary A. Tucker and his paternal grandparents, James Stroble, Sr., and Sarah Stroble; aunts, Virginia Somerville and Shirley Mae Fowkler; and uncle, Prince E. Tucker, Jr.
Steven leaves behind to cherish loving memories: his mother, Hazel Tucker-Stroble of Maryland; aunts, Tasha Pearson, Nancy Brooks, Delois Jackson, Carolyn Tucker, Reana House (Donald), Darlene Walker, Emmalene Pearson (Karl), Joyce Reed (Charles), and Lula Boyd (Kenneth); uncles, Brian Tucker (Ana), Ricky Tucker (Edryce), Frank Stroble (Dorthy), Paul Stroble (Jacqueline), Jerry Stroble (Brenda), and John Fowkler; and other relatives
Funeral Service for Mr. Steven A. Stroble will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2023 at 12 Noon at The Chapel of Smithson Brothers Mortuary, 31397 Highway 49 North, Chase City, VA 23924. **ALL ATTENDEES ARE ASKED TO FOLLOW ALL COVID-19 PROTOCOLS** Burial will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery. 1368 Spanish Grove Road, Chase City, VA 23924.
