Steven Charles Vocke

Steven Charles Vocke, 63, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Northcrest Nursing Home with his mother by his side. Steve was born on August 2, 1962, in Napoleon, Ohio, to Ralph and Sandy (Boyer) Vocke. He attended St. Paul Lutheran School and graduated from Napoleon High School in 1980. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Toledo. Steve began his career with Monroe Auto Equipment in Denver, Colorado, later transferring to the Phoenix, Arizona office. He went on to serve as Western Regional Sales Manager for Commscope until his retirement due to health concerns. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Steve enjoyed playing baseball in little league, pony league, and throughout high school. He was also an avid golfer and a devoted fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved traveling and especially cherished his trips to Vancouver, Maine, and Boston. Above all, Steve treasured time with his family and adored his two daughters, Cora and Charli. He is survived by his mother, Sandy Vocke; daughters, Cora and Charli; sister-in-law, Pam Vocke; and nieces, Olivia Vocke, Erika (Clint) Walker and Veronica (Stephen) Yunker. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Vocke, and brother, Randy Vocke. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon, where visitation will take place from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church or St. Paul Lutheran School.
