Finding the words is very hard when you are try to catch your breath from this feeling of sincere loss. Steve was for me one of my closest friends, in our early days at Congdon Park Elementary it felt like brothers. Steve was always tinkering with something, and after he was done tinkering he would put it back together, but don't worry, any parts leftover Steve would tell me those were extra and not needed. My heart goes out to Steven's father Bill, mother Joan and his wife Carolyn, and his entire family.
Steve, although you and I had gone in a different direction through life, I thought of often and still had hopes that our paths would cross again some day. Rest easy my brother, I love you and I will miss you. God bless. Bryan Kent

Met Steve back in 98 or so in Canal Park working one of the motels. Got the job done, with always a good joke. Myself being a "wise-cracker" made it very fun. Seen him a few times after, we all went out own ways. Very sadden to see this. You will be missed, see ya when I get there. R I.P Steve
