Sue Young Anderson
If I should stay
Well I would only be in your way
And so I'll go, and yet I know
I'll think of you each step of the way
And I will always love you
I will always love you
Bitter-sweet memories
That's all I'm taking with me
Good-bye, please don't cry
'Cause we both know that I'm not
What you need
But I will always love you
I will always love you
And I hope life, will treat you kind
And I hope that you have all
That you ever dreamed of
Oh I do wish you joy
And I wish you happiness
But above all this
I wish you love
I love you
I will always love you
I, I will always, always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you
I will always love you

My beautiful mother peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023 with her family by her side.
She was intelligent, witty, strong, stubborn, brave, loyal, honest, and the most incredible Nana. She was her sister's best friend and the aunt to four nephews and four nieces and the great aunt to many. I wanted her to live with us but she didn't want to be a burden. That was my amazing mom.
She was passionate about genealogy, history, sports, and taking trips or spending time with her best girl friends and family. She was all Tennessee Vol but loved her Memphis Tigers basketball, and Atlanta Braves like her dad.
She was born on June 6, 1951 in Humboldt, Tennessee to the late Delbert Young and Alpine Williams Young.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Larry Young and Charles Young.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Harris and her husband James of Medina; sister, Donna Minton and her husband Ronnie of Rutherford; and three grandchildren, Bryson Williams, Jesse Harris and Hayley Harris.
Mom has always been a giver, just like her mom. Even in her passing, she is still giving. Several years ago, Mom chose to donate her body to the Forensic Anthropology Center at the University of Tennessee. Bryson has found some comfort knowing they will be at the same place for the next few years.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at her church, Oak Grove Baptist Church in Milan, TN. An update will be provided on FB and the funeral home website.
