Sue Gordon Hocutt, age 81, passed away on September 30, 2025. She was born June 9, 1944 in Wake County, to the late Henry Jeff Gordon and Kathleen Dunham Gordon.

Sue is survived by her children: Stacy Bunn (Lori), Glenn Bunn (Chasity), Rhonda Green (Ben); grandchildren: Samantha Bunn (TK Howell), Kelsey Bunn, Doug Green (Catherine), Elizabeth Winstead (Thomas), Brandie Bridges (Daniel), Wallace Bunn, Jack Bunn; great grandchildren: Andy Marshall, Gavin Green, Jade Howell, Bryson Green, Leanna Bridges; nephew, John Andrew Gordon (Ashley); niece, Rebecca Hutto (David).

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Hocutt; brothers: Sam Gordon, Jeff Gordon (Edith).

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Baptist Tabernacle Church Cemetery, 1599 NC-231, Wendell, visitation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Music department at Baptist Tabernacle Church or The Kennedy House through The Baptist Children's Homes of North Carolina, P.O. Box 338, Thomasville, NC 27361.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Polly Allmon, Ann Thomas and Gentiva Hospice for the loving care they provided for Sue.
