Sue Kellogg Obituary
Sue graduated from Grand Ledge High School in the Class of 1965 and dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. She found immense joy in raising her beloved sons, Michael and Tom, and instilled in them the values of kindness, compassion, and love.
Sue's vibrant spirit extended to her many passions, which included a love for antique cars. Alongside her husband, Jack, she cultivated lasting friendships through their shared love of attending car shows. Those gatherings became a cornerstone of their social life, accompanied by cherished weekly dinners with friends.
A natural nurturer, Sue had a deep appreciation for gardening, especially flowers that mirrored her gentle nature. Sue had a passion for collecting Cherished Teddies and held a special affection for butterflies, which symbolized her spirit and grace. Her warm smile and kind-hearted nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Sue's kindness and sweetness touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed by her loving family, including her husband of sixty years Jack; sons Michael (Steve Ueberroth) and Tom (Kristen); brother Kevin Iiams; grandchildren Stephanie Ettleman, Kyleen (Nate) Pursell, Thomas (Anthony) Dixon-Lobert; and great-grandchildren Lilah and Sage Ettleman, and Ryker Pursell. Sue was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry, Mike, and Tim Iiams; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Kyle Seltin.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge. Visitation will be Monday, from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
As we gather to celebrate Sue's remarkable life, we invite all who knew her to join us in honoring her memory. Her legacy of love, resilience, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.
