Mrs. Sue Carolyn Templin

Funeral service for Mrs. Sue Templin, 85 of DeBerry, will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Kristen Smith officiating. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hawthorn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sue Carolyn Templin was born on October 5, 1937, to her parents Charles Kelly Evans and Mary Martha Hudson. She passed away on April 11, 2023, in Shreveport, La.
She enjoyed spending time fishing, playing her piano, and working in her flower gardens. She collected rocks and loved to make Christmas yard ornamentation out of wood. Most importantly, she loved her family and Lord and Savior.
She is survived by her sons, Donald G Smith and wife Kristen, Dennis Smith, and wife Kelley; daughters, Mondra Sue Finey Kelley, and Paula Elaine Hunter; brother, Donald Gene Evans, 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William R Templin, daughter, Dana Hall, 5 sisters and 4 brothers.
