Susan "SueSue" LeJeune Simoneaux Cauthron a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend; who passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 after fighting a courageous and lengthy battle with multiple health complications at Our Lady of the Lake at the age of 56. She was a life-long resident of Plaquemine, LA. A celebration of SueSue's life will be held at a later date. Susan is survived by her husband of 6 years, Robert "Robbie" Cauthron, Jr., sons, Timothy Simoneaux, and Tyler Simoneaux and fiancé Lakel Ackman; granddaughter, Rayne Madison Simoneaux; fur babies, CoCo and Tank; parents, Stanley and Eva "Shorty" LeJeune; sister, Maudie Hunt and husband Kraig; brothers, Dean "Dino" LeJeune and wife Gwen, and Todd LeJeune and wife Nedra; sister-in-law, Jewell Cedatol LeJeune; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert "Bobby" Cauthron, Sr. and Catherine "Cathy" Cauthron; brothers-in-law, Michael Cauthron, Ned Cauthron, and David Corthron and wife Sheroyauna; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and her life-long best friend, Cindy Mabile. She is preceded in death by her brother, Stanley "Mike" Michael LeJeune. SueSue loved spending time with her family above all. She had a wonderful smile, caring and loving heart. Everyone who crossed her path and met her became a part of her family. SueSue loved all the neighborhood children who visited her daily. She enjoyed watching and feeding her hummingbirds. SueSue was an avid LSU fan. She will be missed by all.
