Susan Elizabeth Fenley

Susan Elizabeth Fenley (née Janusz), 63, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 2, 1961, in Pennsylvania, Susan dedicated her life to caring for others. She was a passionate and hard-working nurse for 27 years, finding deep purpose in her ability to comfort, heal, and bring kindness into the lives of those she served. Her gentle heart and unwavering compassion touched countless people throughout her career and beyond.
Susan had a creative soul. She found joy in running, gardening, painting, sewing, and most of all, spending time with her three children-Heather, Hope, and Chip-who were the light of her life. She was known for her warm spirit, her effortless ability to make people laugh, and her boundless kindness to everyone she met.
Susan is survived by her beloved children Heather, Hope, and Chip; her brother Mark Janusz (Tracy) ; her sister Margaret Olivares (Jorge) ; her children's father/former spouse Joseph Fenley (Pam) ; and many adoring nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin brother Stephen Janusz, her parents, Marge and Stanley Janusz, and her older sister Linda Katherine Janusz.
Her family and friends will miss her dearly, but they take comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will continue to live on in all who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate Susan's life will be held 10:00am Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in the chapel of Christ Church United Methodist, 4614 Brownsboro Road. Visitation will be held 4:00pm to 7:00pm Monday, July 21, 2025, at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane.
