Susan K. Housel, a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2024, at the Oxford Crossings Assisted Living Facility in Langhorne, PA.
She was born and raised in Morrisville, PA. and was a proud graduate of Morrisville High School. For all of her life, she embraced her role as a homemaker, fostering a warm and loving environment for her family. As her children grew older, she ventured into various clerical positions and even took on a brief but joyful stint in the Pennsbury High School Cafeteria, where her infectious smile and caring nature touched the hearts of many students. Susan was outgoing and strong-willed, with a unique ability to make others feel comfortable in her presence. Her protective personality was complemented by her love for life and her enthusiasm for the little things. There are countless memories of her, especially the quiet moments spent watching her favorite shows, particularly "Gunsmoke” and the Phillies. She was incredibly proud of her family especially her grandchildren.
Susan was predeceased by her devoted husband, David C. Housel Sr., her parents Madeline and Thomas Balonis, and her beloved fur baby, Stacy. She leaves behind her sons, David C. Housel Jr. and Thomas "Tommy" Housel; her beloved grandchildren—Christian, Emma, Dana, and David C. Housel III—she also leaves behind her dear sister, Barbara Lynn DiAngelo; her cousin, Nancy Grundahl along with many other extended relatives and dear friends.
As we remember Susan Housel, may her spirited nature and the warmth she brought into our lives continue to inspire us. Although she has left this world too soon, her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever resonate within the hearts of those she held dear. Susan's bright spirit shone brightly throughout her life, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
