Susan J. Oliver

Susan J. Holmquist Oliver, 78 of Lebanon, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Daughter of the late Nils and Ruth (Greenhalge) Holmquist, Susan was born on January 30, 1946, in Hartford, CT.
Susan graduated from Glastonbury High School and went on to graduate from UCONN. She was a well-respected realtor for three decades and a manager of ReMax East of the River in Manchester, she loved her ReMax family. Susan was a multi-year past President of the Tri-County Board of Realtors. Besides Susan's dedication to her career, she was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Manchester and was also the past President of Manchester Jr. Women's Club. Susan was also an avid gardener, loved the Beach in Charlestown, RI and enjoyed visits to their condo in Naples, FL. Together they enjoyed wonderful days on Amston lake.
Susan is survived by her loving husband, Paul Oliver; her children, Robert Chaloux and his wife Stacey and grandson Cody of East Hampton, Lisa Chaloux and significant other Artie Frattini of Charlestown, RI, and her stepson Laurence and his wife Suzzane Oliver of Land O'Lakes, FL; her sister Janet Bono and her husband Walt of Glastonbury, her sister-in-law Marge Arnold and her husband Dave of Amston; her cousins Nancy Jalbert, Deb Denby, and Scott Anderson; and many wonderful neighbors and friends. Besides her parents, Susan was predeceased by her ex-husband and father of her children, Alan Chaloux.
A memorial service will be celebrated Friday, May 10, at 11am at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 60 Church Street, Manchester. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
