Rochester Cremation - HenriettaSusan Rendsland (Sue), 67, was given her wings and flew home to heaven on June 8, 2025. She was born March 5, 1958 to Wilbur and Irma Rendsland. She was a middle child of 8:
Sisters- Sandy, Janet, Alice and Brothers- Gary, Terry, Pete, Gene. She had many nieces and nephews.
A week after her passing, Sue was joined by her loving and devoted soul mate James Leach. They met in 1978 and stayed together for 47 years. Together they raised, guided, and loved 4 daughters- Mary, Elizabeth, Theresa, and Annie. Sue was a proud grandmother who stepped in to help raise and loved 3 of her grandchildren- Devin, Tyla, and Amria. And Sue’s great granddaughter “little miss Diara”, is the newest family member. Sue had 5 grandkids total, including Hector and Victor.
Sue was a caretaker and stay at home mom. She enjoyed nights out at the Bingo hall and Casino. She loved weekend drives through the country. She liked to sew (patching holes in torn clothing and replacing missing buttons). She listened to country music (Christmas music was her favorite). And she was a Hallmark channel fanatic.
Sue loved her family and always put their needs above her own. She made sure we had a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, food in our stomachs, and love in our hearts. Her love for her family has left a legacy that will be carried and honored for an eternity. The foundation of kindness, strength and forgiveness that Sue and Jim created, will live on.
Even though Sue’s soul is at peace now and is no longer suffering, she is deeply missed and will be forever loved.
