Susan Marie Thieneman

Susan Marie Moon Thieneman, 59, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday February 14, 2024, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
She was born April 14, 1964, in Scottsburg, Indiana - daughter to the late Marvin Lynn Moon and surviving Clara Marie Nichols Moon.
She was a graduate of Scottsburg High School and went on to receive her bachelors of science in Accounting from Purdue University. She was a bookkeeper at the Academy for Individual Excellence for two years before her passing, where she also helped coach her daughter's volleyball team.
Susan was a member of SouthEast Christian Church for almost 26 years and was a woman of strong faith and conviction, sharing her love of Jesus with whoever she spoke with.
She was a loving mother of three beautiful children, and a devoted daughter, wife, sister, friend.
Susan was an avid picture taker, never missing the chance for a photo op. She also loved board games and puzzles, college sports, travel, and spending time with family.
Her loved ones remember her as a trustworthy confidant, an encourager who always gave quality advice. She was known for holding people together, like glue.
She will especially be remembered for her love of cheez-its.
Susan is preceded in death by father Marvin Lynn Moon, grandparents George and Effie Moon, Chet and Marie Nichols, and brothers- and sisters- in law: Wayne and Audrey Thieneman, Terry Thieneman, Dave Lotz, and Angela Thieneman, as well as mother and father in law: Bill and Delores Thieneman.
She is survived by mother Clara Marie Nichols Moon, brother Jim Moon, husband Timothy William Thieneman, son Anton Thieneman, daughters Barrett (Parker) Graves and Kristiana Thieneman, as well as brothers- and sisters-in-law: Ron (Debby) Thieneman, Diane (Randy) England, Linda Ford, Sandy (Charles) Bland, Mary Lou Lotz, and Pam Thieneman.
Funeral will be held at 11a.m. Saturday February 17 at SouthEast Christian Crestwood Campus. Visitation will be Friday February 16 from 5-8p.m. At Ratterman Bros. Funeral Home (Middletown).
Burial at Bethel Church Cemetery in Scottsburg, IN. Location: 3873 West Leota Rd Scottsburg, IN 47170
