Susan E. Watterson

Susan Elaine Watterson, 71, passed away on March 6, 2024. She was born on September 7, 1952, to Robert January and Sophia (Hohl) Taylor in San Francisco, California.
Sue was a graduate of Memorial High School class of 1970. She attended the University of Evansville. She married the love of her life, Jim, in 1975 and together, they created a beautiful life with their two children. They planted roots in Henderson in 1984. She worked as a waitress for over 35 years and owned Ladies Only Fitness in Henderson. Sue loved spending time in her flower garden and watching hummingbirds. Sue was a wonderful wife, mother, grammy, and sister.
Sue is survived by her husband of 48 years Jim Watterson; children Amy Watterson (Tony Dorris) and Bryan Watterson (Alexis); grandchildren Kaleb Travis, Bryleigh Watterson, Jamie Born, Jacob Bernier; siblings Mike Bolby, Steve Bolby (Cita), Meredith January; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Susan was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Jerry Taylor.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on March 22, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home with graveside inurnment to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
