Susan (Abts) Willems, born October 7, 1952, of Marinette, WI, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025 after a lifetime of managing Multiple Sclerosis.
She is survived by her devoted sisters, Judy (Larry) Compton and Dawn (Joel) Emanuele; several beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friend, Chantel (Julius) Payne.
She is preceded in death by parents, Robert and Rita (VanEss) Abts; her sister, Brenda (Abts) Ludwig; and several other family members.
She graduated from East High School and attended NWTC for Marketing. She held several positions that enabled her to grow and develop both professionally and personally.
She had a deep love of books, was an amazing artis and talented writer and storyteller. Her thirst for knowledge led her to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Sue was especially devoted to her Savior and had a passion to serve others.
Her family wants to extend a special thanks to the many doctors, nurses and caretakers that took care of her, especially those at Northland Lutheran Retirement Communities.
There will be a special "gathering" at The Church of Latter-Day Saints located at 651 Pinehurst Ave. in Green Bay on May 29th 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to her Church or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org
