Sylvia Wireman

Sylvia Wireman, 95, of Souderton, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. She was the wife of the late John H. Moyer and the late Curtis F. Wireman.
Born in Franconia Twp., she was a daughter of the late Morris and Maggie (Freed) Hackman.
Sylvia worked as a CNA at The Community at Rockhill for 33 years. She was a member of Franconia Mennonite Church since 1948, where she enjoyed doing skits with her friends. Sylvia enjoyed reading, singing and flowers.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Quinty of Houston, TX; son, John Moyer, Jr. of Telford; grandsons, Shannon Moyer (Lisa) of Washington, D.C., Troy Moyer (Kerryann) of Lansdale, Payton Moyer (Taylor) of San Diego, Ryan Quinty of Houston, TX and J.D. Quinty (Erin) of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Nathan Moyer, Breckin Moyer, Chandler Moyer and Ryden Moyer; and step-grandchildren, Jordan Sanocki, Shayne Sanocki and John Sanocki. She is also survived by her life-long friend, Arlene Halteman of Souderton, and her Wireman Family, Leroy and Charlene Clemmer of Longs, SC, Blaine and Linda Souder of Telford, Curt and Arlene Wireman of Birdsboro, and Elisa Della Barba of Hatfield; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her husbands and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Dale Moyer; sister, Vandala Hackman; foster sister, Esther Moyer; and son-in-law, Thomas H. Quinty.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 13, at Souderton Mennonite Homes, Summit View Auditorium, where the family will receive friends from 10-10:45 AM. Interment will be in Franconia Mennonite Church Cemetery.
