Szymon Piekut passed away at his home in Crystal Lake August 2, 2022. He was born May 27, 2005 in Chicago to Krzysztof and Anna Piekut. Szymon is survived by his parents; sisters, Izabela and Hanna; grandparents, Barbara and Zdzislaw Prajzner and Bogdan Piekut; and great grandmother, Zofia Prajzner. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bozena Piekut.
Visitation will begin at 9am until prayers at 10:30am Saturday August 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (Route 176) Crystal Lake. Mass will be at 11am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Burial will follow in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
