Tabitha was born in Lancaster Village in Guyana on September 4th, 1970. She was a graduate of Franklin K. Lane high school in Queens, New York and she obtained her Associates in Accounting from Schenectady County Community College. She spent her last years working at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York.
Tabitha Achan was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She is survived by her fiancé Kemraj Persaud, two children Matthew Mundo and Megan Mundo, and daughter in law, Alexis Mundo. Her mother, Pattee Achan and father, Narainswamy Achan. She is the youngest of four children, Mansfield Achan, Janet Achan, and James Achan. Her two sisters in laws, Christine Achan and Yanina Achan. Numerous nieces and nephews, Christine Brown, Katherine Joseph, Brandon Achan, Sabrina Achan, Cassiel Achan, and Jaden Achan along with various grand nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by William Rajcoomar.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at Daly Funeral Home Inc. located at 242 McClellan St. Schenectady, NY 12304.
Visitation Hours:
Thursday, January 5th, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Friday, January 6th, 2023. from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturday, January 7th, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Funeral Services:
Saturday, January 7th, 2023, at 11:00 am.
