Taj'Asia Elizabeth Wilson

Taj'Asia Elizabeth Wilson came into this world on March 7th, 1994 in Red Bank, NJ. She departed this life on July 30th, 2024.
She started her early education in Red Bank Public Schools and continued her education in the Hamilton Township School District. She graduated with her high school diploma from Nottingham High school in 2012.
On August 20th, 2014, she was blessed with a baby girl - Kayleigh Nevaeh Hopson.
Taj was a beautiful soul whose smile would illuminate any room she walked in and her harmonious laugh was irreplaceable. She had a captivating aura that resonated with everyone she encountered.
Her love for food led her to many leadership positions in the culinary industry. Most recently, her impeccable work ethic was swiftly rewarded with a managerial position.
Taj was a selfless woman, she always showed up for others and ensured everyone she was around was always having a good time. She was extremely witty, free spirited and dedicated to being a better person every day.
Her love for fashion was evident. With her flawless sense of style, she took great pride in her appearance, often delighting in having her hair and nails done. She was truly that girl.
Taj always found her way back to cooking and eating good meals over great conversation and music with her loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Kayleigh Hopson; mother and father, Joseph and Jennifer Wilson; brothers, Terrell Wilson (Lauren) and Joseph Wilson (Elly); sister, Casey Carty(Al); grandmother, Laura Meekins; nieces, Jayla, Lena, and Joselly; nephews, Zion, Joel, Miles and Jovani; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends and her beloved pet, Nala.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Earl George Meekins; paternal grandparents, John and Mattie Bennet and James Taylor and Eureka Young (Pete); uncles, Gregory Meekins and Troy Williams; and aunt, Sabrina El-Amin.
To honor Taj's memory and celebrate the joy she brought into our lives, we invite guests to wear lavender attire to the funeral ceremony, if they wish.
