Tamia Guenard Obituary
Tamia "Tammy" Chutz Guenard, a longtime resident of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on June 11, 2022 at the age of 74. She is a native of Sumter, South Carolina, born on June 24, 1947 to her loving parents, the late Murphy Chutz and Dorothy Green Chutz. Tammy is the beloved mother of Melissa Thomas and Christopher Guenard; proud grandmother of Brandon Welch, Chase Thomas, and Chandler Thomas; great-grandmother of Jaxon H. Welch; cherished sister of Mila Chutz Gernon; and caring aunt of Clark Gernon Jr. She is also survived by many friends and extended family members whom she loved deeply.
Tammy graduated from Slidell High School with the Class of 1966. She devoted many years to her career as an EMT, also serving as supervisor over New Orleans Health Department EMS communications. Tammy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Slidell. A funeral service will begin at noon. Burial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society are preferred. Memories and condolences may be expressed at www.AudubonFuneralHome.com

Wonderful memories of us laughing and telling jokes. You had great sense of humor Miss taking rides to see the sunset along the lake. Taking pics. Your heart was always open and giving. Taking care of everyone. Put your family always first. Caring about them so much. Now you will be their guardian Angel watching over them.
