Tammy Sue Courteaux, age 60, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, La, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Tammy is survived by her daughters, Edna Gautreaux and Lacey Gautreaux; her grandchildren, Geovonta Smalls, Garilyn Smalls, Malaya Smalls and Gianna Smalls; her mother, Nola Naquin Courteaux; her brothers, Jasper Courteaux, Jr. and Timmy Courteaux; her sister, Julie Courteaux; and her nieces and nephews, Nola Courteaux, Shawn Courteaux, Chantel Courteaux, Courtney Courteaux and Kristopher Molley.

Tammy was preceded in passing by her husband, Antoine Billiot; her father, Jasper Courteaux, Sr.; her granddaughter, Angel Gautreaux; her grandmother, Edna Naquin; and her great-grandfather, Stanley Naquin.

The family held private services.

Tammy was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother. She loved helping others and will be remembered fondly for her huge heart. She cherished her grandchildren and always made sure that they had what they needed and wanted. Tammy was a hardworker and worked almost everyday until she became sick.
