Tara Lynn Moore, 40, of Dover, Ohio, passed away at home with her husband and dogs by her side. Born April 5, 1982 at Cherry Point, North Carolina, she is the daughter of Mary Ann Lauber of Marco Island, Florida and Daniel J Mendenhall of Massillon, Ohio.
Tara married the love of her life, Anthony T Moore, on July 6, 2013, and he survives. Their furry children are Ambroshuss and Jackson. Her other beloved pets will be waiting over the Rainbow Bridge.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister and best friend, Kristin Lauber (Danieal Anderson and Serenity) and Kristin's daughters, Kalea and Kiari Lauber; her grandfather, Thomas Lauber (Barbara) of Naples, Florida; her mother-in-law, Tammy White (Frank); her brothers-in-law, Ryan (Erika Hutchison) Moore and their children, Seth Moore and Huntter White. Tara also leaves behind many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Her grandmother, Betty Lauber, and her uncle, Mark Lauber, met her at Heaven's gate.
Tara attended Linden Hall School in Lititz, Pennsylvania, and was a 2001 Dover High School and Buckeye Career Center graduate.
She was an employee of the Quaker Theater in New Philadelphia for 14 years. Tara's hobbies included collecting and watching horror movies, and she loved visiting haunted houses every fall. Above all, Tara had a heart for animals.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 15, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover; Pastor Terry Wilcox will officiate. Burial will be later in Dover Burial Park. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday, 10 - 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663, or to a Yorkie Rescue of your choice. If you prefer flowers, plant a yellow mum in her memory. https://vimeo.com/759979360
