Tawny A. Hanning, age 71, of Logan, Ohio, passed away December 25, 2021 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.

Tawny was born May 29, 1950 in Logan, Ohio to Lester and Marjorie Bungard. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Tawny loved her family and friends

Surviving are her husband of 43 years Kenneth Hanning; sons, Larry (Kathy) Nye of Logan and Tracy (Christy) Nye of Logan; grandchildren, Kaylyn, Kassidy, Dakota, Nick, Larryn, Jon, and Curt; 10 great-grandchildren and one on the way; sister Tammy (Eric Hopkins) Mead of Logan; and nephew John Collinsworth Jr. of Logan.

Tawny was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, Grace (Fluhart) Bungard, Herman Kanode, Thelma Pickett Kanode, and William Hurley Bungard.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M., Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the Heinlein-Brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio with Rev. Michael Martin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge.

Calling hours will be observed on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 11:00 am to time of service at the funeral home. The family has requested that family and friends please wear masks during visitation to the funeral home for the calling hours and funeral.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
