Tayte Logan Cooley was born in Oklahoma City to Lisa Jones and Randy Cooley. He graduated from Southmoore High School where he excelled in his many Honors classes. He was a great, caring, and gentle soul. The deep love he shared with his family and friends can never be replaced. His nephews, Logan and Wyatt, and his niece, Kam Bam were the loves of his life.
He was a very sweet and entertaining man who influenced many people, and when he flashed his unforgettable smile, it lit up the room. Tayte was very proud of his appearance and dressed very fashionably. He was a joy to be around and will forever be missed. People gravitated towards him due to his kind soul and wonderful sense of humor.
Tayte was perfectly imperfect and fell into the cycle of addiction. For many years, he struggled to find sobriety, which is something he truly wanted, but like a growing cancer, his addiction took him from us.
Tayte was one of a kind and will always be in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Denny Jones, a brother-in-law, Justin Blake, and his paternal grandfather, Paul Cooley.
Left to treasure his memory are his mother and stepfather, Lisa Gayle and Scott Leonard; his sister, Kelcee Blake, and his nephews and niece, Logan Spear, Wyatt Blake, and Kambree Blake; his maternal grandmother, Donna Carr; his aunt and uncle, Becky and Jeff Phillips, and cousins Kacie, and Colby; along with his father, Randy Cooley, his paternal grandparents, Dale and Patty Lackey, and many more loving family members and friends.
