Teresa Garcia Larrea, 85, of East Moline, passed away, June 11, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Teresa was born on August 15, 1938, in Mexico, the daughter of Sixta Larrea and Tirso Garcia. Teresa was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moline. She loved to play loteria and she loved to cook for her whole family.
Survivors include her children, Diogenes, Eufracia, Marino, Antonio, Alfonso, Isabel, Alfredo, and Mauro; 23 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tirso and Sixta, and her son, Pedro.
