Teresa Mencel Obituary
Teresa was born in Warsaw, Poland on September 11, 1946 to the late Konstanty and Monika Mencel. Teresa left Poland in the late 1970's to live with her aunt and uncle in Rochester, NY. She found a career, and many friends at Eastman Kodak Co. She went on to further her education at MCC with a liberal arts degree. Teresa will be remembered for her love of puppies, the outdoors, going for walks and out to eat with her friends. Teresa was a great friend, and will be greatly missed.
She is predeceased by her aunt and uncle, Stanley and Helen Adamski.
She is survived by her beloved friend and god-sister, Audria Smith, her friends, Norah Pringle, and Christine Williams, her two god nephews, Stephen Buckingham and Demiah Smith, and a host of friends and coworkers from Kodak, and VNS.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., Rochester, NY 14626, on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 11am-1pm, with a service to immediately follow.
