Teresa Martinez Ramirez

Teresa Martinez Ramirez, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 20, 2024 in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 75. She was born on February 14, 1949, in Mathis, Texas to Bentura and Lydia Martinez.

Theresa, is preceded in death by her Parents; her husband, Rene Ramirez; brother,  Raul Martinez, and her sister Sylvia Viduarri. Their memories held a special place in her heart, and she often reminisced about the joy and laughter they shared.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Diana (Isidro Salinas) Ramirez, Cynthia (Delfino) Erevia III, and her son, Rene (Kelly) Ramirez Jr; sisters, Aurora Ybarra, Frances Ruiz, and Elvira Treviño. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Ryan Colmenero, Jonathan Erevia, and Isidro Salinas III, and she takes great pride in her four great-grandchildren. Theresa will be remembered as a devoted matriarch whose warmth and kindness brought her family together, weaving a tapestry of love and support that will endure across generations.

Theresa's presence was a comforting constant in the lives of those who knew her. Her laughter, wisdom, and nurturing spirit touched many, and she leaves behind an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for the love she freely gave and the happiness she inspired in others.

Visitation will be at 11:00 am - 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Winsteads' Funeral Home in Mathis, Texas.
