TERESEA LYNN NORMAN

COX FUNERAL HOME

BASTROP, LOUISIANA

Teresea Lynn Norman was born in Marion, Louisiana on July 15, 1948. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Bastrop, Louisiana. Mrs. Norman was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harold Eugene Norman; a daughter, Tiffany Norman; her parents, Joe Ollie Haacks and Myrine Hodge Haacks; brother, Gary Haacks; and brother-in-law, Brent Franklin.

Mrs. Norman was a member of the Paron Baptist Church in Sterlington, Louisiana and a nurse for over thirty years for both Dr. Carter Cox and Dr. Camilla Carter-Cox. A woman of many talents Ms. Teresea enjoyed keeping busy with many task. She especially enjoyed taking care of the needs of others and was known for her servant's heart .

Mrs. Norman is survived by he daughter, Misty Norman of Bastrop, Louisiana; her sister, Lecia Franklin and sister-in-law, Janice Haacks, both of Sterlington, Louisiana. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of extended family.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Teresea Norman will be held at the Parks Cemetery in Sterlington, Louisiana on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Terry Ganey officiating. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop, Louisiana.

DIRECTIONS TO PARKS CEMETERY, STERLINGTON, LOUISIANA

Take LA Hwy 2 over the Ouachita River Bridge at Sterlington, LA. After crossing the river bridge take 2nd LEFT onto Loch Lomand Road and follow till road intersects to the RIGHT onto Longfield Road. Keep onto Longfield Road approximately 2 miles to Parks Cemetery Road on your LEFT.
