Mr. Terry Gill

Mr. Terry Gill age 67, passed away, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in Perdido, AL. He was a native of Rabun and Perdido, AL area. He retired from the construction field with many years of service.
Mr. Gill was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished the time spent with his family, often taking them on hunting and fishing trips where stories were shared and laughter echoed through the trees. His faith was central to his life; he was a regular at church services, where his presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him. Mr. Gill also had a keen eye for bargains, often wandering through yard sales, excitedly hunting for hidden treasures. In addition to these interests, Mr. Gill was known for his remarkable skills as a carpenter, creating beautiful pieces that showcased his craftsmanship. His lively spirit and love for humor made him a joy to be around. Friends and family alike enjoyed his jokes and playful demeanor. A devoted believer, Mr. Gill lived his life in prayer and gratitude, always recognizing the blessings he received each day.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie (Margutte Andrews) Gill, his wives, Gail Gill and Fern Gill, and one brother, Bryan Dewayne Gill.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris (Lisa) Gill, of Rabun, AL; Kevin Gill, of Dyas, AL; one step-daughter, Crystal Smith, of Bay Minette, AL; one brother, Houston (Linda) Gill, of Rabun, AL; three sisters, Jeanette (Earl) Bryars, of Rabun, AL; Margarette Ann Stewart, of Rabun, AL; Joann Dewise, of Monroeville, AL; five grandchildren, Levi Gill, Kolby Gill, Kenncade Gill Taylor Smith, Abagail Gill, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC. with Rev. Bubba Rolin, Bro. Kevin Rackard and Bro. Tony Schachle officiating.
Burial will follow at Bryars McGill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC.
Pallbearers will be Steven Aplin, Charlie Stewart, Keith Ray Bryars, Tim Bryars, Jason Bryars, and Bo Sullivan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Raun Wiggins and Michael Stewart.
