Terry Tyrone Harris was born March 29 1954 in Fort Pierce Florida. He was adopted at birth by Jessie and Lula Mae Harris. Terry attended Fort Pierce Central High School and later left school to work on the railroad. He later received his GED. At age 14 his adopted Father told him about his birth Mother and Father he met them and his siblings His birth Mom was Ruby(Long) Leonard and birth Father was LT Thomas. He got saved at the age of 21 under Sister and Brother Small. This lead to him getting baptized and later joined Pastor Robert L. Hughes church. There, he met Debra Ann Stevens, got engaged a year later, and was married January 8, 1977 in a small church wedding.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby(Long) Leonard; siblings, Ann Bentley, Nora Woods, Phyllis Collins, Douglas Lawrence, Ronald Leonard; other family members, LT Thomas, Michael Thomas, Billy Thomas, Anthony Thomas, Melvin Thomas.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Debra Ann Stevens Harris; children: Adeania Stevens, Tabitha Harris Jessica Ferguson, Samuel Harris, Timothy Harris, Jermaine Harris, Hezekiah Harris, and Xavior Harris; siblings: Edgar Leonard (Anita), Gregory Leonard (Gwen), Philip Leonard (Stacy), Sabrina Leach, Trudy Leonard, Gregory Thomas, Brenda, and Sheree; cousins: Curtis Harris (Georgette) and Phyllis Harris; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
