An alumna of Fort Pierce Central High School, Gerry graduated with a B.S. in psychology from Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA and a Ph.D. in experimental cognitive psychology from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Though recently retired from a long career in higher education, Gerry remained deeply committed to the success and wellbeing of her students. In both her career and her personal life, Gerry was a strong advocate for those who needed it most. This is what brought her to the Sisters of the Adrian Dominican Congregation in Adrian, Michigan, with whom she served as an Associate Member and found spiritual fulfillment and deep kinship.
May all who have known her find peace and comfort in the love she has left behind.
