Terry B. Medici, age 73, of Fostoria, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Born March 16, 1952, in Highland Park, Michigan, Terry lived a life full of love, adventure, and devotion to his family and passions.
A 1978 graduate of Avondale High School, Terry furthered his education at Oakland Community College before joining the family business, Med-Kas Hydraulics Inc., in Troy, Michigan. Founded by his father in 1965, Terry proudly worked alongside his father, Edward, brother, Tom, and sister, Tina, for over 45 years as an engineer. His dedication and skill helped the business thrive, cementing its place as a cornerstone of the community.
Terry had a zest for life that was infectious. He loved dancing, riding motorcycles, collecting classic cars, and attending car and motorcycle shows across the country. Traveling with friends to these events brought him great joy and lasting memories. His passion for the open road and admiration for fine craftsmanship reflected his adventurous and meticulous spirit.
Terry was the beloved son of the late Edward and Virginia (née Bruce) Medici. He is survived by his siblings, Tom (Bridget) Medici and Tina Crean. A cherished uncle, he leaves behind Tom (Dawn) Medici Jr., Trevor (Gina) Crean, and Evan (Stacey) Crean. Terry was also a proud great-uncle to Samantha (Chase) Garavaglia, Christina (Anson) Rowley, Blake Crean, and Sydney Crean, as well as a loving great-great-uncle to two little ones soon to arrive.
Terry's vibrant personality, loyalty to his family, and enthusiasm for life's adventures will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
A celebration of Terry's life will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road (3 Blks E. of Van Dyke) Utica from 2pm until time of service at 4pm.
