Oskaloosa. Terry Sille, 74, of Oskaloosa, died Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his home in Oskaloosa. He was born July 1, 1951, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Dale and Phyllis Eichberger Sille. Terry attended school in Oskaloosa. Following school he went to work as an independent house painter. A career he enjoyed until his retirement. In retirement he enjoyed helping at the VFW in Oskaloosa. He was a talented pool player and always enjoyed taking a few dollars from those that he played. He also enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
His family includes his two sons, Mike (Christi) Sille and Ryan Sille all of Indianola; five grandchildren, Arick, Mikayla, Caleb, Jacob, and Brendan; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Jim Jeffries of Nebraska; and many nieces and nephews including Stacy Lindsley who helped Terry run errands and get to doctor's appointments.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Rick; and three sisters, Janet, Nancy, and Susan.
As was Terry's wish his body has been cremated and no services are planned. The Bates Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
