Beloved father, son, and brother, Terry Vaske, 49, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away Friday, September 29, 2023.
Private graveside service will be held at Saint Patricks Cemetery in Fairfax, Iowa. Deacon Roger Riesberg will officiate.
Terry was born on December 13, 1973 in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Daniel and Donna (Roling) Vaske. He spent most of his youth on the family farm working alongside his parents and siblings. After graduation, Terry worked for All American Homes where he found his passion for construction. After moving to Cedar Rapids, Terry started Vaske Construction and would make that his lifelong career. Terry not only loved his career, but also loved being a father. He will be missed beyond words, and never forgotten by those who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his children: Josh and Luke Vaske and their mother, Karen Vaske, Layne and Lucy Vaske, Sadie and Wesley Schmidt, and their mother, Shelly Vaske all of Cedar Rapids; parents: Daniel and Donna Vaske of Worthington, IA; Siblings: Tim (Jenny) Vaske of Walford, IA, Tammy Morrison of Plymouth, MI, Tony (Kristi) Vaske of Boiling Brook, IL, Tom (Laura) Vaske of Hopkinton, IA, a grandmother, Annie Vaske of Dyersville and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilfred Vaske, maternal grandparents, Alphonse and Alberta Roling and a niece, Samantha Vaske.
