Terry Martin Voss, 80, retired dairy farmer and a resident of Voss Road in Columbia, died Saturday, April 26, 2025 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care Center.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan and Russell Smith officiating. A private inurnment will be at a later date at Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.

He was born on September 11, 1944 in Maury County, TN to the late Hardin Fox Voss and the late Mary Edith Wilson Voss. Terry graduated from Columbia Central High School Special Education Program in 1966 and later in life was recognized in Columbia Central High School Hall of Fame as their greatest fan which was one of his greatest highlights. Earlier in life he enjoyed fishing with his parents, playing in the Culleoka Men’s Softball League, and was an avid sports fan with Columbia Central High School football and basketball. He was a lifelong member of Culleoka Church of Christ.
Survivors include his brother Thomas Hardin “Tommy” Voss of Columbia; three nephews, Michael Voss of Columbia, Kevin (Lisa) Voss of Water Valley, and Matthew (Mande) Voss of Wichita Falls, TX; great niece Logan Ford; great nephews, William Voss and Wyatt Voss; aunts, Jean Childrey, Jean Wilson and Patsy Wilson; special friends, Patricia King of Columbia; and several cousins.
