Thelma McIlvain Estrada "The Burger Boy Lady"
Thelma McIlvain Estrada, 74, of Conroe, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025. She entered the world on December 7, 1950, born to Lee and Ethel McIlvain on Love Street in Cleveland, Texas.
Thelma was known for her serving heart and her genuine love for people. For more than 30 years, she served the community with a welcoming smile at Burger Boy in Conroe, where she became a familiar and beloved face. She had a unique gift for conversation-always ready to share a story, listen with understanding, or brighten someone's day with a few kind words. Of all the roles she held in life, Thelma cherished being a grandmother most. For 37 years, she poured her heart into her family, offering unconditional love and creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Estrada; her parents, Lee and Ethel McIlvain; her sister, Barbara Maddox; her brother, Edward McIlvain; her sister-in-law, Angela Estrada; and her brother-in-law, Felipe Estrada.
She is survived by her children: Glyn McIlvain, Mark Estrada, and Carmen Estrada; her grandchildren: Destiny and Dustin McIlvain, Lana and Iden Batalla, and Isaiah and Imri Estrada; and her great-grandchildren: Casius Leal and Harmony McIlvain, as well as Taylor, Jenna, and Elijah McIlvain. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly. Thelma is additionally survived by her brothers-in-law: Elfego, Erasmo, and Amadeo Estrada; and her sisters-in-law: Estel Nieto, Eusebia Lara, and Fulgencia Peralta.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in The Chapel at Conroe Funeral Directors with Pastor David Kearney officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park–The Woodlands Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in The Chapel.
Pallbearers will include Glyn McIlvain, Mark Estrada, Dustin McIlvain, Casius Leal, Iden Batalla, and Taylor McIlvain. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Brown and Robert Leal.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and connection will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
