Theodore J. Hoffman, born September 20, 1946, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at CenterPoint Hospital in Independence, Missouri with his loving family by his side. He was 77 years old.
Theodore was born in Milwaukee, WI to the late Alfred J. and Anita E. (Losse) Hoffman. He grew up in New Berlin, WI on Egofske Rd with his 4 brothers and 1 sister. Theodore graduated from New Berlin, High School class of 1963.
Theodore enlisted in the United States Navy and after serving his country for seven and a half years, he was honorably discharged. He received the Vietnam Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal, both of which he was extremely proud.
Theodore married the love of his life, Nancy J. Kejwan, on March 28, 1970, in West Allis, WI. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with 53 wonderful years of marriage. They lovingly raised their six children and provided a wonderful life for each of them.
Theodore was a member of the Steam Fitters Local 601, Milwaukee, WI. In 1992, they relocated to Kansas City, MO where he became a Member of Pipe Fitters Local 533
Theodore retired from York International on February 29, 2011, and was able to thoroughly enjoy 12 years of a wonderful retirement with his beautiful wife and best friend Nancy. They enjoyed traveling to places where sunshine, beaches and a good margarita were must haves. Among their favorite places were Hawaii, St. Maarten, Mexico, Florida, Arizona and Wisconsin. Each summer they would hook up their RV, and head North, back to their roots in Wisconsin to enjoy some special time, with family, friends and their daughter, Amy and her family.
He will be dearly missed and loved forever, it's not goodbye, we'll see you later.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Nancy and their children; Douglas Hoffman, Amy (Rick) Reinholz, Nicole (Chad) Sells, Steven (Debbie) Hoffman, and daughter in-law Julie Hoffman
Also surviving are his (13) grandchildren and (9) great grandchildren, his brothers, Jim (Judy), Brian (Elizabeth) and by his sister, Janet (David) Robertson, Sister in-law, Catherine (Chuck) Long and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Welcomed into heaven by his parents Alfred and Anita, by his Father and Mother-in-law, Michael and Elaine Kejwan, his sons, Michael and Brian, his brothers, Doug and Dave, and brother in-law, Brent Wegner
