Mr. Theodore Maddox was born on July 17, 1953, Willie Marion Maddox and Sarah Louise Ambles Maddox in Griffin, Georgia. He received his formal education at Griffin High School in Griffin, Georgia. After high school, Theodore enlisted in the United States Army, where he furthered his education.

Theodore accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 9 years old, and joined Macedonia Baptist Church, where he served as a Brother in Christ.

Theodore was employed by A. C. Ackerman Construction for 5 plus years. In his leisure time he enjoyed watching football, he loved all kinds of sports, BBQ, golfing, listening to music, watching old westerns, and spending time with his family and friends.

On Friday, October 10, 2025, Mr. Theodore Maddox's name was called, and he answered and was set free from all sickness and pain. Rest now in peace and comfort, your journey has ended, battle fought, and victory won. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Maddox, Sr., and Sarah Louise Ambles Maddox, his son, Johntavious Malik Collier, and his brothers, Willie Maddox, Jr., Harry Maddox, and Arthur Maddox.

Mr. Theodore Maddox leaves to cherish his loving and devoted special friend, Marcia Richardson, sister, Stella Maddox, his brothers, George Maddox, and Richard Maddox, nieces, Cutina Maddox, Samantha Maddox, Elizabeth Maddox and Michelle Williams. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
