Theodore Pattison Obituary
Ted lived a full live with his wife Janet, for 15 years. As a father to Alexandria and grandfather to Perseus and Oliver, Ted was greatly blessed.
Ted's love for sports was expressed in his natural talents for tennis and golf. He won high school tournaments in both sports, went on to compete on the professional tennis tour, and later became a Tennis Professional at Gulf Hills Racquet Club in Ocean Springs. For golf, he was an active member of Panama Country Club in Lynn Haven.
His talent as a drummer led him to a music career in the classic rock band Rockstill, touring the southeastern United States in the early 1980s. He also played in many jam nights and smaller bands throughout the years. He had the heart for worship music and played with many worship bands, the latest being at Lynn Haven Methodist Church.
He also earned his Captain's license and ran a tour/charter boat as T&J Island Cruises in Biloxi MS with his wife/first-mate. Ted also co-owned and helped publish the Bay County Coastal newspaper here in Bay County, Florida.
Ted is survived by his wife, Janet Johnson Pattison; sister, Rosalie Pattison Barnett; daughter, Alexandria Pattison and grandsons, Perseus and Oliver Poynter. Has was predeceased by his parents Theodore William Pattison and Joyce Noelia Ford Pattison.
